ProfEC Ventus has received approval from DAkkS to extend its accreditation under ISO/IEC 17025 to include electrical and frequency measurements. The extension covers additional calibration capabilities for data loggers and other measuring instruments.
The extended scope applies to the permanent calibration laboratory and covers the following measurement ranges:
- Direct current voltage: 0–30 V
- Direct current: 0–50 mA
- Frequency: 1 Hz–15 kHz
The approved scope specifies the measurement ranges, procedures and expanded measurement uncertainties. ProfEC Ventus can now provide accredited calibration services and issue calibration certificates within these ranges, particularly for data loggers and multimeters.
DAkkS is a member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA), which supports international recognition of accredited calibration results. The accreditation through DAkkS, being ilac-MRA member, warrants that all ProfEC Ventus ISO 17025 calibrations are recognised and accepted at a global scale, fulfilling IEC norms, MEASNET recommendations and FGW guidelines.
