New data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), analysed by the Sun Day Campaign, shows that renewable energy generation increased by 10.1% in the first five months of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. Envision to supply turbines for 179 MW Narrogin wind farm

Envision Energy has received the Notice to Proceed from Neoen for the supply and installation of wind turbines at the 179 MW Narrogin wind farm in Western Australia. The project will use 23 Envision EN182-7.8 MW wind turbines, each with a 155-metre hub height and a 182-metre rotor diameter.
Amprion takes over Ibbenbüren site for BalWin2 converter station

The Hagedorn Group has completed the dismantling of the former coal-fired power plant in Ibbenbüren and handed over the 27-hectare site to Amprion. The transmission system operator will now prepare the site for the construction of the BalWin2 converter station, which will connect offshore wind farms directly to the electricity grid in North Rhine-Westphalia.
