Tech Safety Lines (TSL) has appointed WindTree as an authorised distributor in South Korea. WindTree will distribute TSL's rescue and fall-protection equipment to the South Korean wind industry and other industrial markets, with personal rescue-from-height equipment as a key area of focus.
The company will introduce TSL products for applications including self-rescue, assisted rescue, emergency evacuation, firefighter escape, fall protection and technical rescue. WindTree will also provide local support to customers seeking information about TSL's equipment and rescue solutions.
The portfolio includes the SRK-15 Micro Self-Rescue and Assisted Rescue Kit, a compact system for self-evacuation, assisted rescue and ladder rescue from elevated work environments. The Spark Rescue System is a lightweight mechanical-advantage system that can be used with the SRK-15 to raise, lower or reposition a person during a rescue.
Other products include the StepWise Fall-Arrest Lanyard, which incorporates a web ladder to help a suspended worker relieve pressure and improve positioning following a fall, and the MCD Fire Escape System, a compact personal escape system certified by UL to the NFPA 1983 requirements within NFPA 2500.
WindTree will also distribute other TSL rescue and fall-protection equipment that can be selected according to specific hazards, work environments and rescue requirements.
