Envision Energy has unveiled its Model T EN-175/8.0, an 8 MW-class onshore wind turbine. The turbine is based on Envision Energy’s Model T platform and has a 175-metre rotor. The company says the turbine can deliver 2–12% higher energy yield, depending on site conditions.
The EN-175/8.0 has been developed for a range of onshore environments, including mountainous terrain, cold climates and sites with weak grid conditions. The design combines integrated engineering and manufacturing with automated control systems. The turbine uses its Tianji Weather Foundation Model and Dubhe Energy Foundation Model to adapt operation to changing conditions.
