Nabrawind has completed the lifting of its first wind turbine using the Skylift system. The project was carried out at the InnoVent Diaz Wind Farm in Namibia, featuring a GW165/6000 turbine from Goldwind with a hub height of 100 metres.
The Skylift system is intended to enable wind turbine installation in challenging wind conditions and at sites where the use of large cranes is not practical, potentially expanding the range of viable locations for wind farm development.
