Nexans has announced that its board of directors has appointed Julien Hueber as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Christopher Guérin. The change takes effect immediately. Christopher Guérin will remain available to support the transition until 31 October 2025.
Julien Hueber, aged 55, is currently Executive Managing Director of PWR Grid & Connect Europe, a business generating EUR 2.6 billion with 23 manufacturing plants. A member of the executive committee since 2018, he joined Nexans in 2002. He has extensive experience in supply chain and purchasing, as well as detailed knowledge of the Asia-Pacific region, particularly China and South Korea, where he previously led regional operations. He later oversaw Nexans’ global Industrial Cables – Industry Solutions & Projects business.
