Siemens Energy has raised its outlook for fiscal year 2026 following strong first-half performance and solid market demand, while also reporting preliminary results for the second quarter. The revision reflects improved expectations across the group, including Siemens Gamesa.
For Siemens Gamesa, revenue is expected to grow by 3% to 5% in fiscal year 2026, an upgrade from the previous 1% to 3% range. The business is expected to remain at break-even profit before special items for the full year.
In the second quarter, Siemens Gamesa reported revenue of €2.53 billion, broadly stable compared with €2.71 billion a year earlier. Comparable revenue increased by 0.4%. Orders reached €846 million, slightly below the previous year but up 3.3% on a comparable basis.
Profit before special items improved significantly to a loss of €44 million, compared with a loss of €249 million in the same period last year, reflecting a margin of -1.7% versus -9.2% previously.
Despite continued cash outflow, with free cash flow pre-tax at -€654 million, the result shows a marked reduction in losses compared with the prior year period.
Across Siemens Energy, the group raised its full-year forecast for revenue growth, profitability and cash flow, supported by strong order intake and performance in other divisions.
