{access view=!registered}Only logged in users can view the full text of the article.{/access}{access view=registered}In the kk-electronic a/s study, sequences of wind velocity events were extracted from some of the measurements recorded by all of the wind turbines in a wind farm. These event sequences were subsequently matched and combined with the physical layout of the wind farm. This enabled travel times of the wind between wind turbines to be computed, and, in turn, wind speed and direction could then be calculated.
