BGB Group has been awarded a framework agreement for offshore scaffolding and construction services for the Baltica 2 offshore wind farm. Baltica 2 is a 1.5 GW offshore wind farm located approximately 40 km off the Polish coast near Ustka and Łeba. The project is expected to be fully commissioned by the end of 2027.
Under the framework, BGB will provide engineered temporary access and offshore construction support in Polish waters for the project’s four offshore substations. The work will support construction and commissioning, as well as the termination of array, export and interconnector cables.
Services will be ordered on a call-off basis throughout the offshore construction campaign. The framework runs until the end of 2027, with options for extension.
BGB will carry out the work through its in-house design, engineering, supervision and offshore execution teams. Delivery will be supported by its Polish operating company, BGB Group Global, based in Gdańsk.
