Deutsche Windtechnik has been awarded operations and maintenance contracts covering substations for the Greater Changhua offshore wind projects in Taiwan. The scope includes the offshore substation of Greater Changhua 4 and the onshore substations of Greater Changhua 2b and 4.
Under the agreements, Deutsche Windtechnik will work alongside Ørsted’s local operations and maintenance team to deliver substation services, including scheduled and corrective maintenance. The Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms form part of Ørsted’s portfolio in the Taiwan Strait, located approximately 35 to 60 kilometres off the coast of Changhua County.
