Nordex has received its first order from Ecuador, with a project developer selecting 19 N149/5.X turbines for a wind farm in the south of the country.
The Delta4000 turbines will be installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 105 metres. Installation of the first unit is scheduled for October 2026, with commissioning planned for March 2027. The names of the customer and the wind farm are not disclosed.
