Ørsted Wind Power A/S has launched a tender for post-construction monitoring of bats, seabirds and migratory birds at the Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 offshore wind farms in the Polish Baltic Sea. The scope covers the Natura 2000 Słupsk Bank area and the Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 offshore wind farms, located approximately 30 km offshore Poland.
The work includes offshore surveys, data analysis, regulatory reporting and liaison with authorities to support compliance with environmental permit requirements. The tender also covers collision-risk assessments for bats and migratory birds. Some elements of the scope are listed as options in the tender notice. The base scope is expected to be carried out between 2027 and 2032. The procurement uses a competitive procedure with negotiation. The estimated value of the contract is €26.3 million.
