Palfinger has secured a contract with Smulders to supply 64 PF 160-5m davit cranes for the East Anglia TWO offshore wind farm, operated by ScottishPower Renewables. The order includes one crane for each of the project's 64 turbines, with deliveries scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
The cranes will support material handling, maintenance and service activities on the turbine platforms.
Located in the southern North Sea off the Suffolk coast, East Anglia TWO will have a planned capacity of up to 960 MW and forms part of ScottishPower Renewables' offshore wind development portfolio in the United Kingdom.
