RWE is investigating the cause of an incident that occurred on 10 June involving turbine components during loading operations onto a jack-up installation vessel. According to the company’s official communication, turbine components being handled for offshore wind deployment for the Thor offshore wind farm were involved in the incident during operations linked to the transport and installation process. The components were loaded onto a vessel operated by Fred. Olsen Windcarrier.

RWE said it is currently examining the cause of the incident and assessing any potential damage. Relevant authorities and project partners have been informed as part of standard procedure, and further updates are expected once the investigation progresses. The company has not provided additional details on the extent of the incident or whether any injuries occurred.
