Vestas Wind Systems promotes Christian Venderby as Executive Vice President of Service and member of the Executive Management. Christian Venderby joined Vestas in 2006 as the CFO for the North American Sales Business unit, before being appointed COO in 2010.In 2014, he moved back to Denmark to become Group SVP and Head of Service. Since 2014, when Vestas established a stand-alone Service business area, it has become a significant source of revenue and profit and this organisational change reflects the importance of the service business area to Vestas’ strategic and financial targets. The company has currently 86GW under service.
