FairWind has appointed Felipe Ramalho as its first head of Latin America operations, strengthening its regional presence in the wind energy sector. Based in Brazil, Ramalho brings more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, covering both legal and operational roles across wind energy businesses.
He joins FairWind from SANY Renewable Energy, where he most recently served as deputy general manager for Latin America. He previously held senior roles at Nordex, including country manager and head of legal for Brazil and Latin America. In his new role, Ramalho will be responsible for expanding FairWind’s business across Latin America, including team growth and the development of partnerships with turbine manufacturers and asset owners. He will also support the company’s core services in wind turbine installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and blade repair.
