The Supervisory Board of Sif has reappointed Fred van Beers as a member of the Executive Board and chief executive officer for an additional three-month period until 1 August 2026. The Supervisory Board has also appointed Koen Bogers as a member of the Executive Board and chief executive officer to succeed Van Beers, effective from 1 August 2026 for a four-year term until the close of the annual general meeting in 2030.
Bogers, who holds Dutch and Belgian nationalities, was chief executive officer of Stedin between 2021 and 2025. Before joining Stedin, he served as managing director of Babcock & Wilcox Volund in Denmark. Between 1996 and 2018, he held various senior management positions in the energy, energy transition and energy infrastructure sectors at Siemens and Stork GLT in the Netherlands, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates. Bogers holds master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Delft University of Technology and in business economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Van Beers, who has served as Executive Board member and chief executive officer of Sif for the past eight years, will remain with the company as an adviser from 1 August 2026 until early 2027.
In addition, shareholders approved the reappointment of Peter Wit to the Supervisory Board for a further two years and approved the award of 6,037 Performance Share Units to Bogers.
