Arctura has partnered with Mankiewicz to add the ALP20 topcoat to the company’s wind turbine blade repair portfolio, which also includes the LEP10 leading edge protection coating.
The ALP20 coating is designed to channel lightning strikes to blade receptors, helping to reduce the risk of structural damage. It is applied without the need for specialised tools or training and does not require ongoing maintenance. Independent testing by a certified lightning laboratory indicated a projected 73% reduction in blade punctures when used correctly.
