Enerpac has introduced several products for wind turbine construction and maintenance, including the ZU4T Connect Torque Pump with integrated data logging, the lightweight LU-Series Electric Torque Pump and the Armor Stack storage system.
The ZU4T Connect Torque Pump records torque operations digitally, providing a record of work carried out on each joint. The system is based on Enerpac's Z-Class pump and is designed to reduce the need for manual records and support traceability of bolting operations.
The LU-Series Electric Torque Pump is designed for intermittent bolting applications. Its compact and lightweight design provides an alternative to larger continuous-duty pumps used for maintenance and repair work.
For applications where access is more difficult, Enerpac also offers the cordless SC-Series and XC2-Series battery pumps. Both can be used with torque wrenches and for multiple cylinder applications. They connect to the Enerpac Connect app, which provides access to pump usage data and tool information.
Enerpac has also introduced a bespoke design service for wind turbine bolt tensioners. The service covers the development of tensioners according to specific application requirements, from initial design through to manufacture.
The new Armor Stack is a modular storage and transport system for hydraulic tools, including torque wrenches, tensioners and turbine flange alignment tools. The system is designed to protect the equipment during transport and storage and can be stacked for storage and deployment.
