Qualitas Energy, an international investment and asset management platform focused on renewable energy, the energy transition, and sustainable infrastructure, made significant progress in expanding its wind energy portfolio in Germany in the first half of 2025.
Over the past six months, Qualitas Energy secured permits for 43 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 275 MW. In addition, applications were submitted for another 156 turbines, totalling more than 1 GW. Qualitas Energy was also successful in the two most recent onshore wind auctions in 2025, receiving awards for 19 turbines with a combined capacity of 121.4 MW. Across the country, more than 100 projects with a total capacity exceeding 3 GW are now in the final stages of development.
