Suzlon has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract from Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited for a 400 MW wind energy project in India. As part of the project, Suzlon will supply and install 127 S144 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.

The company will also deliver the project under its EPC scope, covering land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant infrastructure, pooling substation works, extra high voltage transmission line works, commissioning and operations and maintenance services. The wind project will be developed in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.
