Vestas has reported new wind turbine orders in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia as part of its third-quarter 2026 order intake. The announcements cover projects in Japan, Vietnam, Germany, Austria, Romania and Australia, with several including long-term service agreements. In Japan, Vestas has received an order for 55 MW comprising 13 V136-4.2 MW turbines. The order includes a 20-year service agreement. Delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2029, with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter.

In Vietnam, Vestas has secured two orders covering a total of 16 V163 turbines from its 4 MW platform. The orders also include 20-year service agreements. The customer and project names have not been disclosed.

In Germany, Vestas has reported three orders totalling 92 MW for projects associated with BBWind Projektberatungsgesellschaft. The Borken Kierit project comprises five V172-7.2 MW and one V162-5.6 MW turbine, with delivery planned from the fourth quarter of 2027 and commissioning from the second quarter of 2028.

The Raesfeld Lanzenhagen project comprises four V172-7.2 MW turbines, with delivery planned from the first quarter of 2028 and commissioning from the fourth quarter. The Borken Deepschlatt project comprises three V172-7.2 MW turbines, with delivery planned from the first quarter of 2028 and commissioning from the third quarter. All three projects include 20-year service agreements.

Vestas has also reported three German orders totalling 101 MW. The Auw bei Prüm project comprises six V172-7.2 MW turbines, while Cottbus Ost and Überhäsiges Viertel LK Cloppenburg each comprise four V172-7.2 MW turbines. All three orders include 20-year service agreements.

Delivery for Auw bei Prüm is planned from the second quarter of 2028, with commissioning in the fourth quarter. Cottbus Ost is scheduled for delivery from the first quarter of 2028 and commissioning in the third quarter. Delivery for Überhäsiges Viertel LK Cloppenburg is planned from the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.

In Austria, Vestas has secured two orders with WEB Windenergie. The Maustrenk RI project comprises eight V162-6.2 MW turbines, for a total of 50 MW, while Spannberg IV Extension comprises two V162-5.6 MW and two V162-6.2 MW turbines, for 24 MW. Both orders include 25-year service agreements. Delivery and commissioning for both projects are planned to begin in 2028.

In Romania, Vestas has received a 156 MW order from Electrocentrale Borzești for the Poiana project. The project will use 24 V162-6.5 MW turbines and includes a long-term service agreement. Delivery is planned for 2027, with commissioning scheduled for 2028.

In Australia, Vestas has reported a 346 MW order for an undisclosed customer and project. The order comprises 48 V172-7.2 MW turbines and includes a 30-year service agreement. Delivery is planned for 2027, with commissioning scheduled for 2028.
