Windcat and Ørsted have signed long-term contracts for crew transfer vessel (CTV) services supporting Ørsted’s offshore wind farm operations from Grimsby, UK. Ørsted’s Generation UK Hub operates and maintains six offshore wind farms from Grimsby’s Royal Docks, supplying renewable electricity to homes and businesses.
The agreements started in June and have an initial term of five years, with options for extensions. The contracts cover seven Windcat vessels, all of which are already operating on Ørsted’s UK offshore wind projects.
