Cadeler has acquired Menck, a provider of specialist equipment and technology for offshore foundation installation, from Acteon. Cadeler plans to operate Menck as a standalone business, retaining its independent market position and continuing to serve customers across the offshore wind sector, including other installation contractors.
The transaction is based on an enterprise valuation of €501 million, with signing and closing completed simultaneously after all required regulatory approvals were received. Menck is headquartered in Kaltenkirchen, Germany, with facilities in Hamburg, Singapore, Cornwall in the UK and Cork in Ireland.
