Iberdrola reported that energy distributed worldwide during the 2025 financial year increased by 7.5% to a record 255,976 gigawatt-hours. Growth was largely driven by the United Kingdom, where distribution rose by 52.2%, including the contribution from SP Electricity North West.

By the end of 2025, Iberdrola’s installed capacity reached 58,343 MW, an increase of 3.2%. Of the total, 40.5% was onshore and offshore wind, 22% hydroelectric power and 15% solar power.

By region, notable increases included Iberdrola Energía Internacional, where capacity rose by 19% driven by new plants in Australia, the United Kingdom with an 8% increase linked to new wind and battery installations, and the United States with a 5% rise.
