Michael Hannibal, Partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), will join Stiesdal Offshore as Chief Commercial Officer to help accelerate the company’s work in floating wind technology.
CIP partnered with Stiesdal Offshore in October 2024 to pursue large-scale floating wind projects, aiming to advance the technology, streamline project execution, and reduce costs. While Hannibal will remain a Partner at CIP, he will step back from daily operations and project-level decision-making.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Hannibal will join the executive team at Stiesdal Offshore and lead engagement with developers, suppliers, and key stakeholders. He joined CIP in 2017 as head of its offshore wind platform. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive of Offshore Wind at Siemens Wind Power.
