Vestas has appointed Anna Mascolo as President of Vestas Northern and Central Europe and Global Offshore. She succeeds Nils de Baar, who is retiring from operational roles after more than 10 years as Regional President.
Mascolo joins Vestas from Shell, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President of Low Carbon Solutions. She has more than 25 years of international experience in the energy sector, covering research, trading, aviation, chemicals, mergers and acquisitions and low-carbon technologies.
Before her most recent role, Mascolo held several senior positions at Shell, including President of Global Aviation and Vice Chair of the Raízen board. She is also a board member of Rolls-Royce SMR.
In her new role, Mascolo will oversee Vestas’ sales, construction, service and development activities for onshore wind in Northern and Central Europe, as well as its global offshore wind activities.
