Enercon returned to profitability in 2025 after several challenging years. Enercon commissioned 627 wind turbines in 2025 with a combined capacity of 2,785 MW, compared with 2,776 MW the previous year.

In Germany, the company achieved a 30.4 percent market share based on 1,594 MW of installed capacity. Across Europe, Enercon’s market share increased to 15.5 percent from 15.1 percent in 2024. Türkiye was the company’s largest export market by installed capacity, with total export installations reaching 1,192 MW in 2025.

Operating profit after depreciation, interest and taxes improved by €189.90 million to €11.99 million, compared with a loss of €177.91 million in 2024. The annual financial statements of Enercon’s parent company, UEE Holding SE & Co. KG, also show an increase in group revenue from its core business of developing, manufacturing, selling and servicing onshore wind turbines. Revenue rose to €4.45 billion in 2025, compared with €3.83 billion in 2024. Order intake also increased, reaching €5.85 billion by the end of 2025, an increase of 40 percent compared with previous years. Enercon said its order book extends through 2028.
