Stillstrom by Maersk has launched two new applications for supplying electric power to vessels operating offshore. The Power Hub and Power Tower provide standalone charging options that can be deployed independently of turbine infrastructure, supporting flexible use across both existing and future offshore wind developments.
The Power Hub is a compact, monopile-mounted structure intended for installation within operational wind farms, allowing charging capability to be added to existing sites. The Power Tower is designed for new offshore wind projects, with a structure similar to a turbine foundation. It can be installed using standard construction vessels, tools and processes, enabling charging infrastructure to be incorporated from the outset.
