Bluestream Offshore has secured a contract from Equinor and Polenergia for the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of a corrosion protection system for the wind turbine generator foundations of the Baltyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in Poland.
Awarded in partnership with Corrosion, the contract covers the delivery of an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system and the co-developed ICCP-Subsea Assembly Method (SAM) to protect 100 monopile foundations.
As the contract holder, Bluestream Offshore is responsible for overall project performance, overseeing offshore installation using a DP-2 walk-to-work vessel, with topside and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) personnel. Corrosion has been appointed as the key partner for designing and fabricating the ICCP systems.
