Left to right Equinors project team alongside Corrosions Martin Rosmolen and Bluestreams Rutger LieverseBluestream Offshore has secured a contract from Equinor and Polenergia for the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of a corrosion protection system for the wind turbine generator foundations of the Baltyk 2 and 3 offshore wind farms in Poland.

Awarded in partnership with Corrosion, the contract covers the delivery of an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system and the co-developed ICCP-Subsea Assembly Method (SAM) to protect 100 monopile foundations.

As the contract holder, Bluestream Offshore is responsible for overall project performance, overseeing offshore installation using a DP-2 walk-to-work vessel, with topside and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) personnel. Corrosion has been appointed as the key partner for designing and fabricating the ICCP systems.

Bluestream Offshore is the subsea division of OEG Energy Group.
