Goldwind has signed a cooperation agreement with Inova Elektrik Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., the wind energy arm of Gulsan Holding, to supply 13 GW165-6.0 MW HH110 permanent magnet direct-drive (PMDD) wind turbines.
The turbines will be delivered for the Metristepe wind farm extension in Bilecik Province, adding 78 MW of capacity and bringing the site's total installed capacity to 118 MW. Located in hilly terrain, Metristepe has been in commercial operation since 2011, when its 40 MW first phase began supplying electricity to the region.
