MacGregor to deliver 400 tonne AHC crane for floating wind construction vessel in South KoreaMacGregor has secured an order to deliver a 400-tonne active heave compensated (AHC) subsea crane for a 127-metre floating wind farm construction vessel. The contract was awarded by Jiangsu Dajin Heavy Industry, while vessel operations will be managed by Hana Shipping.

The crane is designed to support mooring installation, cable laying and offshore construction work linked to floating wind projects. The vessel’s first deployment is expected at the Ulsan floating wind project, located about 70 km off the coast of Ulsan in South Korea.

Delivery of the crane is scheduled for the end of 2027, followed by vessel delivery in the second quarter of 2028. The order has been included in MacGregor’s first quarter 2026 order intake.
