MEAG has sold its minority interests in the Horse Creek and Electra onshore wind farms in Texas to Ardian, which was already a long-term partner in the assets. The two operational wind farms have a combined capacity of 460 MW and have been in operation since 2016.
The projects generate renewable electricity in the ERCOT power market. MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re Group, was advised by Holland & Knight and Santander on the transaction.
