RES has secured an asset management contract for the 130 MW La Bufa Wind Project in Zacatecas, Mexico. The wind farm comprises 65 Gamesa G114-2.0 MW turbines and supplies renewable electricity to Volkswagen’s manufacturing facilities in Mexico under a long-term power purchase agreement.
Under the contract, RES will be responsible for asset management services for the project and cover financial and technical asset management, performance monitoring, reporting, and optimisation across the full asset lifecycle.
