RWE and Aneo have signed a transaction agreement for the sale of RWE’s wind activities in Sweden. The agreement covers RWE’s onshore wind development pipeline of 1.8 GW, onshore wind farms with a total operational capacity of 124 MW and the operational Karehamn offshore wind farm with a capacity of 48 MW.
It also includes part of RWE’s third-party onshore service business and the development, operations and offshore teams associated with the transferred assets and projects. RWE and Aneo have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary approvals and is expected in the first quarter of 2026.
