RWE has signed a 20-year renewable power purchase agreement (PPA) with French pharmaceutical company Sanofi. The contract, which took effect in early 2025, secures the supply of 21 GWh of electricity per year.
The power will be generated by the three turbines of the “Chemin de Châlons 1” wind farm, located in the Marne region of north-eastern France. The site has a total capacity of 9 MW.
