Fugro has secured a new financing facility from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support the development and deployment of its uncrewed surface vessel (USV) technology.
The unsecured facility amounts to EUR 150 million and covers eligible costs incurred between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2031.
Drawings under the facility will have maturities of up to 10 years. The facility ranks equally with Fugro’s existing senior debt and provides additional long-term funding for its technology development.
In addition, Fugro has agreed a two-year extension to the maturity of its existing senior unsecured debt facilities, which now run until December 2031. These syndicated facilities comprise a EUR 400 million revolving credit facility and a EUR 100 million term loan. The extension is on the same terms as those agreed in December 2024.
