Insight Marine, a new Irish-headquartered engineering design and commercial advisory business, has launched. The company provides engineering design, technical advisory and commercial support for offshore wind, subsea transmission and cable projects, ports and harbours, marine civil infrastructure, environmental and regulatory advisory, decommissioning, expert witness services and forensic engineering.
Based in County Wicklow, Ireland, Insight Marine will serve clients across Ireland, the UK, Europe and international markets. The company was founded by Paul Doherty, who previously established GDG, an international engineering consultancy specialising in offshore wind and marine infrastructure. GDG was acquired by Venterra Group in 2021.
