Skyborn Renewables has appointed Michael Klingele as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 July 2026. Klingele will be responsible for overseeing the company's global operations and project delivery activities across its offshore wind portfolio.
He brings more than 30 years of experience in offshore wind and large-scale infrastructure projects, covering development, execution and delivery. During his career, he has held senior leadership and board positions in Europe and Asia, managing major infrastructure projects and organisational transformation programmes.
Klingele succeeds Thomas Karst, who will step down as Chief Operating Officer on 1 July 2026. Karst will remain with the company for a one-month transition period to support the handover process.
