ComEd has energised two new 345 kV transmission substations, enabling the connection of up to 550 MW of wind generation in LaSalle and Woodford counties.
The substations will support the commercial operation of two planned wind farms: the 150 MW Osagrove Flats project, expected to enter service in late 2026, and the 400 MW Panther Grove project, scheduled to begin operations in early 2027.
