Nordex has received an order in Spain for an initial capacity of 80 MW. The contract covers the supply of 13 N175/6.X turbines for an onshore wind project. The agreement includes a service contract for a period of 20 years. It also contains an option to expand the project by a further 40 MW, which would bring total installed capacity to 120 MW.
The turbines will be installed on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 112 metres. Installation is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with commissioning expected by the end of 2027. The customer and project location have not been disclosed.
