Ocean Winds has signed a reservation agreement with the PGE and Ørsted joint venture Elektrownia Wiatrowa Baltica-2 to use the T5 terminal at the Port of Gdańsk for the BC-Wind offshore wind project. The terminal will be made available after installation work for Baltica 2, scheduled for 2027.

Baltica 2 will lease over 21 hectares of port space for turbine installation. The agreement with Ocean Winds is an initial step toward finalising a sublease for the same terminal, which it plans to use in 2028.

The T5 terminal is designed to support offshore wind construction and will be used for several projects. It is expected to operate in this role for at least the next decade, with future use depending on industry needs. The facility has attracted interest from various developers and may contribute to activity in the local supply chain.

Using the terminal for multiple projects is part of a broader approach to make efficient use of existing infrastructure. It reflects practices used in other offshore wind markets and may support further sector development in Poland.
