Goldwind is expanding its local supply chain for wind turbines in Türkiye, starting with the integration of locally manufactured steel towers supplied by CS Wind. The tower localisation initiative is part of Goldwind’s wider supply chain development strategy, aimed at increasing local manufacturing capacity and supporting Türkiye’s wind energy sector.
The company is also planning a wind turbine blade manufacturing facility in Türkiye and the project is currently in the site-selection and investment-evaluation phase. The proposed site covers more than 125,000 square metres and is expected to create over 700 direct jobs. The facility is planned to produce blades for Goldwind’s GWH182 turbine platform, with a targeted local content level of at least 65%.
