Semco Maritime wins offshore service contracts for Iberdrola’s Baltic Hub

Iberdrola has awarded Semco Maritime two three-year contracts for offshore maintenance services at its Baltic Hub. The contracts cover scheduled and unscheduled above-water maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment at two offshore substations. Extension options are included.
TGS to carry out offshore wind site survey in Norway

TGS has been awarded a contract for site characterisation services for an offshore wind project in Norway. The scope includes data acquisition, imaging and interpretation. The Ramform Vanguard will begin acquisition in early July, with operations expected to last around 25 days.

LS Cable & System named preferred supplier for 1GW Haesong offshore project

LS Cable & System has been selected as the preferred supplier of subsea cables for the 1GW Haesong Offshore Wind Project, located near Heuksando in Shinan County, South Korea. Its subsidiary, LS Marine Solution, has also been named preferred bidder for the installation works.
Integrated Wind Solutions takes delivery of fifth offshore wind vessel

Integrated Wind Solutions has taken delivery of its fifth Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV), IWS Moonwalker, through its subsidiary IWS Fleet. The vessel, built by China Merchants Industry Holdings, is currently en route to Europe.
South America onshore wind outlook: growth to slow by 2034

Onshore wind capacity in South America is expected to reach 83 GW by 2034, growing at an average annual rate of 6.5%, according to Wood Mackenzie. The top three markets—Brazil, Chile and Argentina—account for 84% of the region’s 39 GW outlook. While mature markets see continued growth through corporate power purchase agreements (PPAs), less developed countries remain reliant on government tenders. Grid constraints and rising curtailment remain key regional challenges.
SAB WindTeam orders 91 MW of Nordex turbines for German wind farm

SAB WindTeam has placed an order with Nordex for 13 N163/6.X turbines, with a combined capacity of 91 MW. The agreement includes a 20-year service contract. The turbines, each with a hub height of 164 metres, will be installed at the Fretzdorf site in Brandenburg, near Wittstock/Dosse, Germany.

Mammoet to support Heerema with offshore installation for TenneT 2GW programme

Mammoet has signed a contract to support Heerema Marine Contractors in the offshore installation of two topsides for TenneT’s 2GW programme. As part of the work scope, Mammoet will assist in floatover preparations by skidding the topsides from a heavy transport vessel onto Heerema’s newly built H-731 barge, using hydraulic skid shoes.
Rosenxt expands subsea capabilities with acquisition of Beam assets

Rosenxt UK, part of Switzerland-based Rosenxt Holding, has acquired selected assets and staff from Rovco, also operating as "Beam", a subsea robotics and engineering company previously based in Bristol and Aberdeen. Beam was formed in 2024 through the merger of Rovco and Vaarst but ceased operations in May 2025.
