Fengmiao offshore wind farm begins pin pile installation offshore Taiwan

Installation of the first pin piles has been completed at the Fengmiao Offshore Wind Farm, marking the start of offshore installation works for the project. In total, 99 pin piles are required for the wind farm. These components were manufactured by Century Huaxin Wind Energy and CTCI MAC, while transportation and installation are being carried out by CDWE using the installation vessel Green Jade.
EverWind secures financing to support 650 MW onshore wind portfolio in Nova Scotia

Aikido Technologies presents floating offshore wind platform concept combining data centre, turbine and battery storage

Aikido Technologies has introduced the AO60DC concept, a floating offshore wind platform designed to combine data centre capacity with offshore wind generation and battery storage. The platform is designed to host around 10–12 MW of computing capacity together with a wind turbine rated at 15–18 MW or more and an integrated battery energy storage system. According to the company, the concept is intended for projects ranging from about 30 MW to more than 1 GW of information technology load.
Iberdrola acquires 242 MW Ararat wind farm in Victoria, Australia

Iberdrola has completed the acquisition of the Ararat Wind Farm from Partners Group and OPTrust after receiving the required approvals. The wind farm, located in Victoria, has a capacity of 242 MW and has been in operation since 2017.
SENSEWind self-erecting turbine installation system assessed for Teviot wind farm in Scotland

A turbine installation concept originally developed for offshore wind could reduce installation and operating costs at large onshore wind projects, according to a new study. The SENSE (Self-Erecting Nacelle & Service) system developed by SENSEWind has been assessed for use at the proposed Teviot Wind Farm in Scotland. Modelling carried out by Natural Power using data from SENSEWind and Muirhall Energy compared the system with a conventional tower and crane installation approach for a typical Scottish onshore site.
