Nordr Energi plans to expand its use of the Vind AI platform beyond offshore wind to model projects combining renewable energy generation with battery energy storage systems (BESS). The company will use the platform for offshore and onshore renewable energy projects, as well as standalone BESS applications.

Headquartered in Haugesund, Norway, Nordr Energi, formerly Source Galileo Norge, develops and owns renewable energy systems. The company is part of Unitech Energy Group, which designs and manufactures cables and connectors for the oil and gas and renewable energy industries, with offices in Bergen, Perth and Houston. Nordr Energi also operates Zefyros, formerly known as Hywind Demo, as a hub for future floating wind turbine demonstration projects.
