GT Wings has obtained verification from Lloyd's Register for the sea trials performance assessment methodology of its AirWing Jet Sail technology, a wind propulsion system for vessels. The verification follows around ten months of commercial operation of a 20-metre AirWing installed on the MV Vectis Progress, a general cargo vessel operated by Carisbrooke Shipping. The system was installed in March 2025.

Dublin Offshore has obtained a prototype certificate from DNV for its load reduction device, a mooring line component developed for floating wind applications. The certificate follows completion of the prototype certification process in accordance with DNV SE 0422 for floating wind turbines and the technical requirements set out in DNV ST 0119.

Vattenfall has completed a validation of the SARWind Timeseries dataset developed by CLS and Meteodyn. The assessment covered a five-year benchmark period from 2018 to 2022, during which Meteodyn supplied hourly wind speed and wind direction time series at 100 metres height based on satellite synthetic aperture radar observations.

The EU-funded EOLIAN project has completed infusion trials demonstrating the manufacture of basalt fibre reinforced vitrimer composite laminates for wind turbine blades. Project partners Proplast and Politecnico di Milano produced laminates using an infusion process compatible with current blade manufacturing methods, marking progress towards the production of a 12 metre vitrimer composite demonstration blade.
